Abstract

MASJUAN BRACONS, Eduard. La cultura de la naturaleza en el anarquismo ibérico y cubano. Sig. his [online]. 2006, vol.8, n.15, pp.98-123. ISSN 1665-4420.

This article makes a revision of the interpretations that the Iberian and Cuban anarchism did about Nature. It pretends to explain the existent needs that impulse the construction of a new culture of Nature in the working class, from the end of the nineteenth century to the thirties of the twentieth century. I analyze the development and the organization of the natural sciences to get a sustainable co-evolution with Nature, from the Iberian intermediaries of Elisée Reclus, based on the relations that society has with the territory and the water. I also analyze the expansion of the ecological naturalism in Cuba. This paper presents some contributions of this working class culture related to Nature, which was interpreted in cultural terms, social and political.

Keywords : Anarchism; territory; wáter; Catalonia Cuba.
