This article analyzes the political activities developed in Hispanic America for de Spanish liberals emigred to the area after the failure of the Trienio liberal in Spain (1820-1823), focus in this case Félix Mejía and his political developed in Guatemala between 1827 and 1828. In this way, is significant for me is the way in that Mejía put his political experience to serve the first president of the federal republic of Central America (1824-1839).
