Abstract

MARTINEZ MAZZOLA, Ricardo. Socialism for the Argentina pampa. The agrarian program and political alliances in Juan B. Justo´s thinking. Sig. his [online]. 2018, vol.20, n.39, pp.120-148.  Epub Aug 03, 2020. ISSN 1665-4420.

In this article I analyze two key elements of Juan B. Justo´s thinking: his proposal about the agrarian matter and the policy of alliances he suggested as the basis for the socialist construction. I reconstruct the first step of the history of Argentina socialism and the founding process of the Socialist Party. Then, I analyze Justo´s interpretation of Argentina history and I emphasize the centrality he ascribed to the agrarian matter. I conclude the article examining the link between his take on agrarian social relations and his stance on political alliances.

Keywords : Socialist Party; Marxism; Agrarian Matter; Colonization Theory; Policy of Alliances.
