Abstract
VELAZQUEZ-HERNANDEZ, Emilia. Internal indigenous migration from the Veracruz Isthmus: new regional associations. LiminaR [online]. 2013, vol.11, n.2, pp.128-148. ISSN 2007-8900.
This article explores how the internal migration creates new regional links. The analyses is grounded in the case study about the migrations that took place since the 1990s between the Istmo veracruzano and the north border of Mexico in one hand, and the Istmo veracruzano through the fields of intensive agriculture of Sinaloa in other hand. This study shows that migration of nahuas and popolucas workers from Sierra de Santa Marta allows that regions before unconnected are now plenty and unequal articulated.
Keywords : internal migration; indigenous workers; regional changement.
