This paper addresses the dissemination of Edgar Morin's thought about complexity throughout Latin America. Through an analysis of specialized literature, it is possible to obtain some data that show the important dissemination that this author's ideas had in the region. In this paper, we can recognize the production of a significant and varied literature related to complexity, as well as the existence of several investigation groups working on Edgar Morin's ideas.
