Abstract

MUNOZ COVARRUBIAS, Pablo. Two readings of the Moral Epistle to Fabio after the 1939 exile. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.18, pp.259-281. ISSN 2007-8846.  https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl9182019957.

The main objective of this article is to examine the links between the Moral Epistle to Fabio by Andrés Fernández de Andrada and the work of exiled Spanish writers. Especially, this work approaches the critical texts of Luis Cernuda and María Zambrano, highlighting the relevance of the poetic tradition during the initial years of exile, as well as the relevance of Fernández de Andrada's great poem among the exiled. It is important to note that until now the reception of the Epistle in the texts prepared by this generation of authors has not been studied.

Keywords : Moral epistle to Fabio; Luis Cernuda; María Zambrano; tradition; poetry.
