Abstract
MAGANA GUZMAN, Edgar. Three orientations of eroticism in the trilogy about infidelity by Ercole Lissardi. Idealization, obsession and death. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.19, pp.375-390. Epub Nov 19, 2020. ISSN 2007-8846. https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl9192019971.
This article seeks to distinguish erotic performance based on three units of study: idealization, obsession, and death, in Ercole Lissardi's trilogy on infidelity. The analysis is based on eroticism as a narrative aesthetic category, from which these three units of study are produced, all of which are interrelated and constitute the narrative column of the trilogy. In this way, idealization, obsession and death are approached from the narrative sphere, with the support of psychological and philosophical perspectives, in three works by a Latin American author little known in Mexico. It is determined that, in the trilogy analyzed, idealization from eroticism disturbs, obsession in erotic combination triumphs, and death is an unfinished desire.
Keywords : literary trilogy; eroticism; idealization; obsession; death.
