Abstract

This study aims to find out the psychosocial implications in the construction that pro gay and lesbian parenting experts are creating of a new reality where same sex marriages and parenting are developed: Spain, France and Argentina. We believe that the expert opinion acquires a relevant position concerning the counselling and legitimization of the implementation of legal decisions as well as legislative actions and policies in order to ratify the existence of this kind of families. In general, it is shown that there is a predominance of standardization resources in these experts trend, but, in addition to this, and in a minor way, there are also arguments that support the respect for difference and social flexibility which can be considered as main cores of social innovation processes.
