Abstract
ITURRIETA OLIVARES, Sandra. Hauntological happiness: everyday past and alternative futures. Andamios [online]. 2023, vol.20, n.51, pp.55-80. Epub Sep 29, 2023. ISSN 2594-1917. https://doi.org/10.29092/uacm.v20i51.968.
This text reports on the results of a research with a qualitative approach, developed with professionals from different fields of knowledge, in which through the writing of micro-stories they imagine past and alternative futures as daily supports for human actions, meanings and materialities. The idea of a type of neoliberal happiness is discussed, which standardized claims the perfect synthesis of professional, material and relational success, and therefore becomes a hauntological idea of happiness that guides everyday life through a sacrificial logic to achieve it. Consequently, the professional world is urged to adhere to the insubordination to the posthumous ideology, as the great task of current critical thinking.
Keywords : Ideas about futures; fortunate future; apocalyptic future; happiness; hauntology.
