Abstract

ENCISO GONZALEZ, Jesús. Mutations in middle of heaven: one bolchevik in two revolutions. Andamios [online]. 2023, vol.20, n.52, pp.45-71.  Epub Nov 17, 2023. ISSN 2594-1917.  https://doi.org/10.29092/uacm.v20i52.998.

In recent times, feminism as a movement has acquired great resonance. Here we recover one of the important efforts of women to claim recognition of their participation in social revolutions: we refer to the ideas and actions of Alexandra Kollontai, a character who before and after the Russian revolution of 1917 claimed the role of women in the construction of a new society. She was an activist who promoted two revolutions: one with a high political-economic sense (the Bolshevik) and another that tendentially was of a cultural order, modifying the situation of women in the social formation that was being built at that time (the Soviet Union).

Keywords : Kollontai; Russian revolution; power; feminism.
