Abstract

HERRERA H., Emma Virginia et al. Application of the DADER method of Pharmacotherapeutic follow-up for patients with hypertriglyceridemia from the center zone of Veracruz Mexico. Rev. mex. cienc. farm [online]. 2012, vol.43, n.1, pp.58-63. ISSN 1870-0195.

Dader method for Pharmacotherapy Follow-Up (7 stages) was applied to 71 patients with hypertriglyceridemia of center zone of Veracruz. Data were analyzed using STATA software version 11. Hypertriglyceridemia prevalence was 33%. Serum triglyceride concentrations after treatment showed a statistically significant reduction in most patients, showing a better efficacy of treatment because pharmaceutical intervention (p<0.001 t test). The identified Negative Outcome associated with Medication (NOM) were 11 of quantitative ineffectiveness type. The adherence percentage was 85%. Factors that were associated with therapeutic ineicacy were level of obesity, gender and age. Dader method is a tool that improves patient care with dyslipidemias.
