There were 12 selected points over dental surfaces with a superimposed pattern of dental arch with triangular, square and ovoid forms. The results showed that in both cases an ovoid form predominated. Seventy nine cases (49.3%) showed the same arch shape in maxillae and mandibula, and 27 cases (16.8%) presented a combination in the shape of both archs.
