Abstract

PACHECO ZERGA, Luz. Women's equal opportunities and their right to work: an international effort for social protection. Rev. IUS [online]. 2012, vol.6, n.29, pp.108-129. ISSN 1870-2147.

The author analyzes the substantial changes international conventions have achieved in national legislation and in the constitutional interpretation of employment rights. In this respect, she delves into the concepts of family, work and non-discrimination from the anthropological and philosophical foundation, not to undermine but rather consolidate these institutions and promote peace and social development.
