Abstract

This exploratory work has as objective to discuss on the proposals of his campaign that the formerly candidate for the Presidency of the Republic Enrique Peña Nieto (PRI-PVEM) conducted in specific to Ciudad Juárez during the 2012 federal election process. The empirical analysis and its relationship with the theoretical approaches to identify to the proposals as utilitarian and sustainable. The importance of exploring on the theme implies discuss concepts such as the accountability and governance in scenarios of discredited political and crisis of representation. The challenge means incorporating the citizenry in the construction of the proposals of his campaign, and not confined to the society to the logic of an electoral market.
