Abstract

ROJAS-OVIEDO, Irma; CARDENAS, Jorge; MARQUEZ, Carmen  and  TWYMAN, Lance J.. Celite Catalysed Alkylation of Alkenes. J. Mex. Chem. Soc [online]. 2005, vol.49, n.1, pp.10-13. ISSN 1870-249X.

In the presence of Celite mono and disubstituted alkenes could be alkylated with benzylic halides at room temperature. In order to form the C-C bond, it was necessary to use activated aromatics with alkenes or propargylic esters.
