Abstract

CASTILLO-CAMPOS, Gonzalo et al. Hoffmannia arqueonervosa (Rubiaceae), a new species in Central Veracruz, Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2013, vol.84, n.3, pp.751-755. ISSN 2007-8706.  https://doi.org/10.7550/rmb.34433.

Hoffmannia arqueonervosa Cast.-Campos (Rubiaceaea) is described and illustrated as a new species from the gallery forest in the Center of Veracruz and on the eastern slopes of the Cofre de Perote volcano, Veracruz, Mexico. This species is related to Hoffmannia cuneatissima B. L. Robins.; however, the petioles and internodes of H. arqueonervosa are longer, leaves are glabrous and fruits are larger.
