Abstract
REDONDA-MARTINEZ, Rosario and VILLASENOR, José Luis. Two new combinations in Vernonieae (Asteraceae) of Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2013, vol.84, n.3, pp.983-984. ISSN 2007-8706. https://doi.org/10.7550/rmb.34572.
Recent taxonomic studies in the tribe Vernonieae (Asteraceae) make necessary to consider the taxonomic position of several taxa of the flora of Mexico. Accordingly, 2 new combinations are required to place in their proper genera 2 species formerly placed in the genus Vernonia: Critoniopsis feddemae (McVaugh) Villaseñor and Redonda-Martínez, and Lepidonia wendtiana (B. L. Turner) Redonda-Martínez and Villaseñor.
Keywords : Critoniopsis; Lepidonia; nomenclatural changes.
