Abstract

A new record of Achimenes admirabilis is reported for Mexico. This species had only been reported in the states of Oaxaca and Veracruz. Recent collections in the municipality of Tenosique, extend its range to the state of Tabasco.

Keywords : Achimenes; Tenosique; Usumacinta River; Riparian vegetation.
