The present work reports the family Phengodidae for the first time for Belize, thus expanding the distribution of Phengodes (Phengodella) leonilae, P. (P.) tuxtlaensis and Stenophrixothrix fuscus, and a new species of the genus Phengodes is described. A key for the identification of the species of Phengodidae of Belize is presented.
