ZAMUDIO SANCHEZ, Francisco José; ROMO LOZANO, José Luis and MORALES MORALES, Julio César. Análisis comparativo del desarrollo humano en los estados de Chihuahua y Sinaloa, 1995-2000. Región y sociedad [online]. 2006, vol.18, n.35, pp.43-73. ISSN 2448-4849.
The comparative analysis of the human development of the Mexican states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa, from 1995 to 2000 shown here, is mainly based on three human development indexes: the index with gross internal product per capita (IDHP, for its Spanish initials), the human development index with services (IDHS, for its Spanish initials), and the gender-related human development index (IDG, for its Spanish initials). The degree of inequity (INQIDHP, for its Spanish initials) is also analyzed, on a state and municipal scales, through the Gini index applied to IDHP. Additionally, an innovative method called quality curves is used here.
Keywords : social development; human development; gender; inequity; municipal quality.
