Abstract

VAZQUEZ VAZQUEZ, José Dionicio  and  HERNANDEZ RODRIGUEZ, Ma. de Lourdes. Profesores de educación básica y diseño de herramientas para alumnos transnacionales en Tlaxcala. Región y sociedad [online]. 2014, vol.26, n.61, pp.201-232. ISSN 2448-4849.

Teachers of basic education serving children who have experienced migration, here called transnational students, should pay special attention to their students' performance in the classroom, since they have attended school both in the United States and in Mexico. This article reveals the problems faced by teachers and transnational students in the state of Tlaxcala, Mexico, highlighting the pedagogical contributions of teachers and the contributions of students to the school environment, particularly the classroom, including their knowledge or skills as students with a migrant experience, which altogether leads to an interest and enthusiasm that generates educational alternatives, in a context of permanent changes in programs or academic loads.

Keywords : teaching issues; transnational students; teaching tools.
