Objective: To present the case of a transgender migrant woman in the Mexico-American border region, emphasizing the issue of vulnerability. Methodology: Qualitative social perspective through grounded theory. Results: The informant describes various forms of vulnerability associated with being a transgender woman Value: This type of approach may be useful in planning projects and social programs aimed at mitigating the social needs of minority groups. Limitations: As this is a case study, no generalizations are intended. Conclusions: Knowing these vulnerabilities helps promote a culture of empathy and consideration for the pain of others.
