Abstract

GARCIA VINA, Jordi. Shadow economy and European labour relations. Rev. latinoam. derecho soc [online]. 2015, n.21, pp.31-59. ISSN 2448-7899.

The shadow economy is not a new phenomenon in labour relations; nor is it limited to one country or area. It is a situation that affects most of the countries and that is getting worse with the economic crisis. The negative effects of the shadow economy are multiple and they affect all the economic actors: governments, companies and workers. For this reason, solutions must be found to eradicate or limit its consequences, despite the fact that it is not easy to determine what these consecuences may be.

Keywords : Shadow economy; labour relations; employment; fraud.
