This article highlights Mexican women unequal participation in access and enjoyment of the benefits provided by the Mexican state as part social security. The analysis looks at inequality from the gender perspective and it underlines the modalities of insertions in the job market, all types of occupations that show salaries differences, coverage of social security services, and, particularly, access to pensions and health. It also includes the inequalities derived from income and the support they can get to confront the risks of the life cycle. The analysis is based on the systematization of the National Survey on Employment and Social Security (INEGI, 2017).

Keywords : Social Security; Inequality; Sexual Division of labor; Gender.
