Abstract
ISSN 1870-5766.
In the purépecha community of Sevina (Michoacán) the Revolución has become an event of ungrateful memory for its inhabitants. It is present in stories, but also in community practices or popular beliefs, it appears also each November 20 in the form of parade. Then the event acquires national characteristics, although never leave the local modality. In this text I will analyze the mechanisms through which the two visions of the event, live on the interpretation that the sevinenses make of the past.
