The last time the patient showed hypoesthesia in a glove and sock distribution, as well as decrease in latencies and amplitude of sensory nerve conduction velocities.

Alcoholic neuropathy is under-diagnosed for being insidious in most cases and the patient denial of alcohol abuse.
