Abstract

VALDES-PENA, René A.; ORTIZ-MACIEL, Sonia Gabriela  and  NUNEZ-GONZALI, Adriana. Recent records of three bird species in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Huitzil [online]. 2009, vol.10, n.1, pp.3-6. ISSN 1870-7459.

We present a new record of the Spotted Wren (Campylorhynchus gularis) in the state of Nuevo Leon; we also present a recent photographic record of the Spot-crowned Woodcreeper (Lepidocolaptes affinis), which verifies its presence in the state. Finally we confirm the presence of a species previously described as of hypothetical distribution in Nuevo León, the Kentucky Warbler (Oporornis formosus).

Keywords : First record; Campylorhynchus gularis; Lepidocolaptes affinis; Oporornis formosus; Zaragoza.
