On September 17th 2005, we recorded the Osprey, Pandion haliaetus, in the locality of Santiago Quiotepec, northern Oaxaca. This is the first record of the species in the arid region of the Tehuacán-Cuicatlán valley. We obtained a photographic support for this record.
