The present investigation starts from the objective of analyzing the tourist attractions and resources existing in the tourist destination of San Vicente with the purpose of making a diagnosis and defining the current state after the earthquake of 16A. It was determined to analyze the tourist resources existing in the database of the tourism department of the government of the area in order to identify it and in turn define the number of activities carried out in them where the resource Rio Muchacho represents 30% Of the activities carried out followed by the resources Rio Canoa and Estuary of Chone that represent 13% of the number of activities. In the classification of the attractions in the area, it was classified by types and sub types where the most representative at the classification level were natural sites with 63% representation followed by the cultural manifestations that represented 31%, at the level Of types the geomorphological ones represented a 56% followed by the urban spaces with a 25% of the total. By sub type 50% represented the coast and 19% the viewpoints that were the most representative. It is concluded that the resources and attractions classified as Geomorphological type are the most representative where 30% is represented in urban spaces and only 10% correspond to be located in mountainous areas of the canton.
