Abstract
RUIZ GARCIA, Jorge Enrique and PAEZ-RUEDA, Carlos Iván. Design and evaluation of a miniaturized linear array antenna for walkways coverage. Nova scientia [online]. 2013, vol.5, n.9, pp.01-18. ISSN 2007-0705.
This paper describes the design and evaluation of a broadside printed dipole array for WLAN applications. The technique used allows to design a reduce antenna to radiate walkways and corridors, like those found in malls. The array was built in traditional technology consists of substrate FR-4 and characterized by an anechoic chamber, checking its effectiveness for 2.4 GHz band. The experimental results differs only 1.18 dBi from maximum gain and 1.7 % from design resonant frequency.
