In this study the distribution of seismic magnitudes of three different catalogs in the Isthmus of Panama, are compared. The Sotolongo -Posadas (S-P) law of energy distribution of earthquakes is used to adjust them. A good fit with data is observed when catalogs are complete, what argues in favour of seismic models based in Tsallis entropy.
