This paper presents a review of some experiences in police training in gender and human rights based on some texts and narratives of police trainers in Argentina. It aims to highlight the process of resignification of police work in this country considering the historical context of these efforts since its democratization after the dictatorship and until the presidency of Cristina Kitchner. The review was based on texts and newspaper articles which document the events described, complemented by the narratives of some women who have participated in these formative processes.
