Abstract

CRESPO, Mariano. A Note on the Attitude of the Christian who Dedicates to Philosophy. Rev. filos.open insight [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.7, pp.215-226. ISSN 2395-8936.

One of the aspects of the issue on the relationship between reason and faith has to do with the supposed existence of some moral attitudes, which are proper of those Christians who dedicate themselves to Philosophy. This note tries to outline an answer to this questions based, on the one hand, on Scheler's work The Essence of Philosophy and the Moral Condition of Philosophical Knowledge and, on the other hand, on the encyclicals Fides et Ratio and Lumen Fidei.

Keywords : Attitudes; Christianity; Knowledge; Moral Life; Philosophy.
