Abstract

VERDU, Ignacio. Confidence and Mystery: Vulnerability as Openness and Life of Reason. Rev. filos.open insight [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.7, pp.287-300. ISSN 2395-8936.

In this article I try to deal with two conceptions of reason and to analyze what they involve, in order to show, finally, the value of the Augustinian proposal. Compared with the modern model of reason, the Augustinian proposal defends a reason open to the mystery and to a deep experience of the transcendence.

Keywords : Inmanence; Transcendence; Vulnerability; Mystery; Reason; Saint Augustine.
