Abstract

Octavio Paz wrote in The Other Voice, an essay on the utility of poetry within the change of times that Modernity is going thorough. In "The Other Voice. Alterity in Octavio Paz", Fidencio Aguilar confirmed the actuality and pertinence of those writings of Paz, reflecting on the guiding line of alterity. This work replies Fidencio Aguilar's and tries to continue Paz' reflexions on poetry and thought.
