Abstract

PALOMINOS-BELMAR, Pedro-Iván et al. Quality of educational services as per students of a public university in Chile. Rev. iberoam. educ. super [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.18, pp.130-142. ISSN 2007-2872.

The articles presents the results of student satisfaction with university education at a public university in Chile. To this end a student satisfaction questionnaire was designed, based on the factors that impact the perception of this educational service. The questionnaire was responded by a representative sample of 2 086 students and the results obtained evidence a generally high satisfaction with this service, based on the perceived reputation of the university and a high lever of user involvement in their learning process. Furthermore, levels of dissatisfaction were found for the quality of administrative services, equipment and infrastructure, and in some variables of teacher quality. The conclusion is that these variables account for the student satisfaction in the context of a public university, which upon being measured can improve its services.
