Abstract
TORRES-VELANDIA, Serafín-Ángel; RUIZ-AVILA, Dalia and MEZA-LOPEZ, Luis-Demetrio. Infraestructure and technological equipment in the consolidated CONACyT doctorates: a view from public policy and from academics. Rev. iberoam. educ. super [online]. 2017, vol.8, n.21, pp.3-23. ISSN 2007-2872.
In the high standards national graduate programs by the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología in Mexico, the research professors' function is to enhance the training of students using, inter alia, institutional infrastructure resources and technological equipment. The study aimed to explore the perceptions of educators around the experience gained in the processes of appropriation and application of these resources in their academic practices. A qualitative methodological approach was applied under the paradigm of the Grounded Theory by Strauss and Corbin. Thus interviews with researchers showed a lack of information and communications technology and the absence of a comprehensive policy by the universities under study, to train the academic community in the efficient use of technological networks.
