Abstract

NAVARRO CASILLAS, Ana María. The importance of circle. The information and communication technologies in the conformation of the women’s clan. PAAKAT: rev. tecnol. soc. [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.17.  Epub Dec 10, 2019. ISSN 2007-3607.  https://doi.org/10.32870/pk.a9n17.449.

Faced with the dynamics of today's life, which encourages competition instead of empathy and collaboration, as well as the patriarchal tendency that has historically underestimated female support and knowledge circles, groups have emerged that promote the conformation of new circles inspired by a mythical ancestral past, where the clan of women can become an agent of cultural change. This paper analyzes the reflectivity of the coordinators of these groups and how information and communication technologies are integrated into their projects and practices, which play the role of medium and mediator in this contemporary redefinition of women's circles.

Keywords : Ecosocial communities; reflexivity; agents of change; internet; digital social network.
