Abstract
MAYTORENA NORIEGA, María de los Ángeles; GONZALEZ LOMELI, Daniel and CORRAL VERDUGO, Víctor. Mediation Effect to Human Agency in Educational Settings. The Human Agency has been studied from various Social Science disciplines and although they exhibit similarities in their conceptualization and characteristics, a lack of communication between disciplines is detected. We sought to test the mediation effect of the three modes of Agency proposed by Bandura in the context of learning in higher education. A confirmatory factor analysis of the Inventory of Agency in School Situations, elaborated for this study, allowed to prove a mediation effect between the personal agency and the collective agency through the mediated agency. The triadic relationship of agency proposed by the theory, centered on school situations, is a contribution to ethnopsychometry that allows us to assume the role of multiple factors in the process of acquiring complex learning.
