Abstract

GONZALEZ, Fernando M.. Las creencias del investigador y las de sus informantes en sociología y antropología de las religiones. Intersticios sociales [online]. 2013, n.5, pp.5-19. ISSN 2007-4964.

The text analyzes some elements related to the diverse ways of believing which approach the researcher, in the first instance, to a more substantialist vision of them and that would have to do with the non dialecticized part that constitutes them. For this purpose I base myself on some phases of the paranoic delirium, using them analogously. Later, I consider them as a communicative act, under Michel de Certau's inspiration. In a second part I offer two examples about the ways of believing: the Christian's, of the empty tomb, with an invulnerable, imperishable, glorified invisible one; and the Russian model of the Lenin's mummy, too visible to reach a correct sacralization. I end this segment by interrogating myself about the differences between the veneration to bones, mummies and invisible ones, and also about the researcher's beliefs and their relationships with the object for study.

Keywords : beliefs; epistemological agnosticism; denial; paranoic delirium.
