This assignment point out information of the newspaper of the Asociación de Damas Católicas de Guadalajara, La Mujer Católica Jalisciense, the focus is the interpretation of symbolic borders with the intention of reflect on different content that bring us closer to typologies of catholic related to social catholicism of the city during the dawn of the last century. The first two figurations of symbolic boundaries described in this paper are engaged with experiences or classifications of actions and catholic positions: traditional and social; pious, charitable, social and political. The third symbolic border refers questions about the model catholic woman. This interweaving shows the convergence of diversity of attributes of catholics.
