The biological life of individuals in the capitalist mode of production is one more commodity that is prepared for the manufacture of others, being sold and bought according to the components that constitute it. The use of the brain, muscles, nerves, and senses for the manufacture of a good is directly related to the reproduction of capital, so when the regime of the production of goods is instituted, a regime of exploitation of life is also established, taking advantage of corporeality, reason and the community of men by production. This article will analyze the dynamics of the commodification and instrumentalization of the organic life of individuals from the postulates of political economy, recognizing this discipline as part of the biopolitical devices for the management, optimization, disciplinarization, protection, and exclusion of life. biological, being this substantive discipline for the administration of life by the relations of domination in modernity.
