Abstract

GARCIA CORZO, Luis Alejandro. Organicism and the complex configuration of the territory. Intersticios sociales [online]. 2023, n.26, pp.131-153.  Epub Oct 23, 2023. ISSN 2007-4964.

This article focuses its perspective on the emergence of configuring territories from organicism, that is, from multiple interactions that must be considered when inhabiting the spaces shared by different organisms. In this sense, the way in which the urban-rural-natural triad has affected the ethical and systemic interaction between the beings and organisms that inhabit them, as well as recognizing the territories as systemic fabrics that, in our times, can act to recompose these environments, despite the alterations that human beings make to other living organisms and their environment in general. Thirty years of implementation of the management model, as well as about a century of the development model, both in urban and rural and natural spaces, have shown the urgent need to reorient the way in which territories should be configured, this implies looking for different structures that make it possible to integrate ways of life, their organization and regulation.

Keywords : organicism; territorial planning; development; systems theory; complexity.
