Abstract

Historiography has documented the union work of the young muralist painter David Alfaro Siqueiros to unite the labor force in Jalisco at the request of the guidelines of Mexican Communist Party (PCM). However, very little or almost nothing is known that, alongside Alfaro Siqueiros, Graciela (Gachita) Amador Sandoval, his first wife, carried out and extraordinary activism with feminist and cultural overtones.
