This study shows the profiles of the Japanese residents in Guadalajara in 2009; their sociodemographic composition according to gender, age range, occupation, education level, reasons for living in Guadalajara, areas of residence, among others. It is based on quantitative data collected by the author. Before this analysis, came up for a historical review of the classification of Japanese immigrants in Mexico.
