Abstract

In the last decades, a Competency Based Education has been promoted. Under these approach teachers must design learning experiences that measure the students’ performance, among other aspects. The objective of this investigation was to design learning evidences that improve creative and practical thinking to start a business plan; over the basis of a basic investigation two steps followed: the first was a documental analysis and the second was the design of the learning evidences. Such design, central theme of this paper, was developed following the generic consensual competencies in the Latin-American Tuning project. Specifically, the ability to use knowledge in real contexts and the creative capabilities; in the dimension for designing learning evidences, and in the use of Design Thinking as a method for innovation.
In this research, it is proposed a set of six sequential learning evidences with thematic coherence that generate creative and practical competencies. Furthermore, we achieve a didactical transposition of the Design Thinking methodology to the teaching-learning process. Simultaneously, in other to measure the performance, several levels of mastering and indicators to measure the development of creative and practical competencies were stablished.
