The COVID 19 pandemic generated countless consequences in societies, and the gastronomic micro-enterprises of the city of Santo Domingo are not immune to this crisis; Therefore, it is proposed to analyze how micro entrepreneurs face the crisis to sustain themselves in the sector through a qualitative-quantitative methodological design with a descriptive depth level. The application of the survey generated information from 63 microentrepreneurs, 40% achieved sales, reusing social networks for promotional communication purposes. The adoption of resilient attitudes has allowed them to stay in the market. This research allows to have an objective vision of the socioeconomic reality of this sector, becoming a contribution for other investigations that wish to deepen the subject.
