Bruxism is characterized by tooth clenching, which affects dental structures and causes pain. Treatment so that it does not negatively interfere with the growth of children must be conservative and reversible. This work aims to report a clinical case of a girl with grinding teeth, headache, tooth wear, TMJ noises and pain in the chewing muscles. As treatments, dental procedures were performed and an interocclusal acetate plate was installed, which after 30 days a decrease in symptoms was observed. It is concluded that an early diagnosis of bruxism in children is necessary to treat them in advance and avoid damage caused at the dental level.
