Abstract

RIGONAT, María Cecilia. Los textos escolares como forjadores de imaginarios territoriales en Argentina: Una mirada sobre los espacios marítimos. Cultura representaciones soc [online]. 2009, vol.4, n.7, pp.55-68. ISSN 2007-8110.

This article shows the connection between the imaginary and the schoolastics books and presents the special views. Argentine is a traditional agrarian country but have a large maritime coast. This work pursuits to search the rol of the maritime space in the scholastics books, and analyze their contribution for the imaginary. Mar del Plata is the principal Atlantic city of Argentine, have 500.000 inhabitants, it is the principal touristic center and the principal fish center port. This work analyze the scholastics books used in Mar del Plata, in the secondary school in the last 50 years, in the Geography. The analyze shows the special view for the maritime space. These space is presented as marginal space, with limited economics activity and only for a touristic conditions.
