In this text, I outline an approach that sustains that the theories of the imaginary, the social representations, the worldview, the ideology, the aesthetics, among others, always refer to the production of the social sense, conceiving the human being as a subject who gives meaning to the world and in doing so he builds himself. Within the framework of this approach, the author argues that social representations are a social form of the imaginary; therefore, the problems they encompassed must be studied in constant interaction with each other.
